Clutch and driveaxles
1. The information in this Chapter deals with the drive axles, and on AWD models the driveshaft, rear drive axles, rear differential and transfer case components, from the rear of the engine to the front wheels, except for the transaxle, which is dealt with in Chapter 7.
2. Since nearly all the procedures covered in this Chapter involve working under the vehicle, make sure it’s securely supported on sturdy jack stands or a hoist where the vehicle can be easily raised and lowered.
